State of the Industry - Summer 2016/17

It looks like sleepy old Adelaide is finally waking up with things picking up in the last couple of months. Everyone I am speaking to now is busy and it doesn’t seem to just be the standard Christmas rush with a lot of projects out to tender still.

The South Australian Government has announced the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Works program which will provide $250 million funding over three years to refurbish and redevelop 139 primary and secondary schools.

Catholic Education schools are moving Year Seven into their middle school, which will result in a lot of building works. There are also several larger projects coming up with the Casino, a new hotel to be built at the Airport and more work along the Riverbank.
